- Despite all these benefits, there are some drawbacks to using GRP car bodies. One of the main challenges is the cost of manufacturing. The production process for GRP car bodies can be more complex and expensive compared to traditional metal bodies, which can drive up the overall cost of the vehicle.
- Moreover, pneumatic drilling systems have a relatively low maintenance requirement
pneumatic drilling. With fewer moving parts than other drilling technologies, there is less likelihood of mechanical failure, translating to less frequent repairs and replacements. The system's simplicity also makes it easier to troubleshoot and maintain in the field.

The Strength & Durability of FRP Grating
Not Hazardous
FRP grating is versatile and can often be used in various ways. But FRP grating is also explicitly used for particular projects and environments.
FRP Pultruded Grating is a type of grating made through an assembling process produced by a pultrusion machine, where fiberglass, resin, pigments, and other additives are mixed in a vat and then pulled through a mold to form strong and rigid profiles. This material offers high strength, dimensional stability, and resistance to corrosion and harsh environmental conditions. Its robust and precise design makes FRP Pultruded Grating a superior choice for industrial applications requiring high durability and performance.

Because it is non-conductive, it reduces the risks of physical harm from electrical issues. Reducing risks of shocks, fires, or other kinds of electrical damage.
Weighing about 2.5 lbs square foot - about the same as 1/4-inch think flat sheet fiberglass plate, the grating over the flume is cut into sections so that it can be easily removed. Handholds are then either cut into each section or a bar of the grating is removed at one end of a grating section to allow an operator's gloved hand to lift the grating section out of the way.

FRP Grating and Structural Shapes are Made with Safety & Fire Resistance in Mind
Fiberglass handrail systems are fabricated from pultruded fiberglass components and molded thermoplastic connectors. Our modular fiberglass grating handrail systems are available in 2 square or 2 round configurations that are easy to grip, making them ideal for any high traffic area. Our fiberglass ladders and cages can be installed in a variety of applications, from sumps to tanks, building, piers, portable equipment, etc., providing years of strength and dependability. Durable
A premium vinyl ester resin system formulated to resist the highly corrosive properties of acids and caustics found in the harshest chemical environment. It is an economical alternative to the more expensive exotic materials often specified for highly corrosive conditions. Color: orange or dark gray. Flame spread: ASTM rating of 15 or less. This superior resin system will maintain its structural integrity at elevated temperatures of up to 180ºF.
