Silk:Silk is a natural protein fiber, produced by insects to form their cocoons. Silk can be produced by a number of different insects, but the most commonly used is silk from the mulberry silkworm. The fiber produced by these insects is harvested, unwound, and twisted together to form yarn, which can beused to make fabric.

Coverlet
A coverlet is a bedcovering with sides that hang down a few inches past the box spring, but don’t touch the floor. A coverlet can be tucked in or left untucked if edged with decorative trim. Luxury coverlets can be layered directly over a flat sheet or over a blanket. It may sometimes resemble a quilt, but unlike a quilt, which is comprised of several layers, a coverlet is just one layer of fabric woven in such a way that mimics the quilting technique. 

Lyocell is similar to viscose in that it is a regenerated cellulose fabric, but is made with a more eco-friendly process. TheU.S. Federal Trade Commissiondefines lyocell as rayons “composed of cellulose precipitated from an organic solution in which no substitution of the hydroxyl groups takes place and no chemical intermediates are formed” — essentially meaning it does not use the harmful chemical solvents normal viscoses use. Lyocell production also results in little waste product, but it is still relatively energy intensive.
